A practitioner-led co-operative inclusive of farmers and non-farmers.

IEA invites you to become a member.

You do not need to be a farmer to be a member of the IEA...our diversity is key to collective knowledge and shaping the future of agriculture.

Between us, we share a vision for ecological agriculture that is regenerative, holistic and ethical; expressing bio-diverse landscapes with biologically enriched soils, that provide healthy food and create vibrant communities.

Our broad membership is inclusive of both farmers and non-farmers such as ecologists, consulting agronomists, academics, small holding through to broadacre farmers, graziers, horticulturalist, conservationists, backyard gardeners, and of course collaborative organisations and community groups to name but a few.

It is important that IEA develops as a community of practice where people with knowledge of diverse agricultural practices can cross-pollinate, inclusive of (but not limited to) agroecology, permaculture, carbon farming, natural farming, keyline farming, organic agriculture, biodynamic agriculture, Indigenous foodways, natural resource management and adaptive or holistic management.

If being part of shaping the future of agriculture is something you are invested in, please join us. Your involvement enables our community of practice to connect, educate, and build resources to advance a shared ecological vision.
